Vatsal Doshi, MD, MPH, is a board-certified retinal surgeon at Vitreous Retina Macula Specialists of New Jersey . Dr. Doshi completed his undergraduate education at University of Pennsylvania where he completed his Bachelor of Arts before transitioning to the Harvard School of Public Health and completing his Master of Public Health Degree. After that, he obtained his medical degree from Harvard Medical School.
Following his graduation, Dr. Doshi completed several distinguishing programs. This includes an internship in Internal Medicine at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center, an ophthalmic residency at the Doheny Eye Institute at the University of South Carolina (USC), and fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.
Today, Dr. Doshi is a diplomate of both the American Board of Ophthalmology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
